The Abbey is one of our most recent projects and it lives in the world of combining congruent, transitional, clean, a touch of modern, and masculine style. With modern + masculine + transitional, it's easy to get caught up in the clean lines, or the masculine features. With The Abbey, the way that was combated and broken up with with texture. From the original House of Maeve artwork, to the custom pillows from K2 Studios in Asheville. Between the art, the pillows, and rug, the textures soften the space and give you that warm and welcoming vibe.
When we were doing the consultation on the space, what was determined is that the client needed a space that was a 'sanctuary.' No matter how busy work schedule, and life; a place that was crisp, clean, and relaxing. The plants not only pull color into the space, they are all air purifying plants that bring that naturally into play. The consistent theme of monotone, brass and a pop of color was used throughout to bring the space together.
Enjoy, and if you're interested in having a consult done on your space, or having custom artwork, please feel free to reach out to us directly on our contact page.
